Whittier Community Housing participates in affordable housing programs to qualify to live in our Community.  Our management team can help you determine which home you qualify for based off the total household income. The household income is based on GROSS annual income (before any deductions) earned from all sources including; wages, social security payments, public assistance, pensions, annuities, interest income, dividends, stocks, bonds, insurance settlements, recurring gifts from family/friends, lottery winnings, etc. The property has a minimum household income requirement of two times the monthly rent amount to qualify. Third party verification will be required of all income and copies of tax returns and pay stubs may be required.  At least one member of the household can not be a full-time student. 

Every household member who will reside in the home and is 18 or older MUST complete an application.

Whittier Community Housing offers a blend of income-restricted apartment homes in the heart of the Whittier neighborhood, providing stability and comfort for individuals and families alike. The community features a variety of studio, one-, two-, and three-bedroom layouts designed to meet a range of household sizes and needs.

The property includes a mix of waitlist-based and first-come, first-served affordable units, with eligibility determined by household income. Our professional on-site management team can help you determine which apartment home your application qualifies for.
